I want to see Lt. Uhura get bitch slapped and get fucked by Kirk real good. That will be why she always had a hard time following his orders in later shows and films.

I think that'll be a lot of peoples' sentiments. I'm by no means a trekkie, but I did watch the original series in reruns a lot when I was younger, and I'm very excited for this film.

lol diaigma. Okay BoyWonder, on average how many people actually know actors names that aren't slapped on every magazine or tabloid alive? I can name big actors that people don't even know. I can say Christian Bale to people and they still have no clue who he is. The important thing is that they are known actors not unknown actors. And Star Trek might make these actors careers skyrocket, not that they really need it. Maybe some of them are doing it to get out of the mold people have put them in like John Cho (Harold) who that's all they are known for.

So, young JT Kirk is in trouble with the law and is made to sign up to Starfleet Academy to straighten him out.

It sounds like the first Police Academy film!

By saying people will know him as "oh its that guy from Shaun of the dead" your clearly proving my point about the C-List Actors comment. As a fan of Star Trek, the casting is the only thing that upsets me, not saying u need a Tom Cruise or Johnny Depp for the roles but u can't tell me that this is a good casting job. I'm sure JJ Abrams will throw in plenty of shiny objects and lens flares like in the trailer just to make u believe this movie will be awesome. Oh, and since you're so "tired of correctly and accurately defending these actors" i'm gonna go ahead and assume you meant pedestal and not PEDASTOOL? Moron. Again with the Karl Urban, he was one of a hundred actors in Lord of The Rings. That's his claim to fame, wow thats it. I like Eric Bana so he's the only hope in this movie.

...And AGENT being recognizable doesn't mean u have to know their name. If u read my comment you would've noticed that I admitted to liking Simon Pegg. So...yeah, you're wrong, Agent VIS.. Cute though.

Sorry I watch good movies, and Crossroads wasn't on my to watch list. Simon Pegg is a well known comedic actor in britian because of Shaun of the Dead. (I didn't watch Hot Fuzz). Anyone who likes zombie movies has seen Shaun of the Dead for the most part, so they know who that guy is, maybe not by name but if they saw him in another major film they'd be like 'oh it's that guy from shaun of the dead'. And I love how you clearly ignored Eric Bana in your response. Troy was a huge movie so that knocks your stupid theory right off your little pedastool now doesn't it? What's wrong with Karl Urban btw? He was in 2 of the most money making films back to back and they're clearly on the top 30 most grossed films list which you can't ignore. He got his career from Lord of the Rings. I'm tired of correctly and accurately defending these actors when all your objective is to knock them down for whatever reasons. You have some issues man. It's a fucking movie. Who did you expect them to cast? Tom Cruise and Johnny Depp? Don't be dumb.

I don't think chad meant big as in your Will Smiths or Brad Pitts, he just meant they're, for the most part, recognizable actors and actresses who the majority of people(excluding you) like. So...yeah, you're wrong, Boy Wonder

Wow did Chad Vital just call Simon Pegg a BIG actor? lol. Dont get me wrong I love the movies he's in but in no way at all is he a BIG actor. Karl Urban, really? Thats your comeback? lol. Lame. Zoe Saldana is also in this movie..I suppose her role in Crossroads alongside Britney Spears makes her a BIG star too huh. What a poser

The Boy Wonderyears' comment is a joke lol. He picked two actors of how many big actors are in this? Let's see, Eric Bana from Troy or The Hulk, you have Simon Pegg which everyone knows who he is from Shaun of the Dead etc, and even Karl Urban from Lord of the Rings and was the only 1 of 2 good parts about the movie Doom, and the other would be that The Rock was in it. These are big actors whether you think they are good or not they have been in major films that you obviously haven't watched so stop talking shit and go watch ACTUAL good movies and think before you do talk please thanks.

The "non boot-leg" version looks even better. Not a Trekkie, but I am a Sci-Fi guru. I'll be there to check out J.J.Abrams reinvention. Brilliant director/writer/etc in my book. Don't disappoint!
