Katherine Heigl Knows The Ugly Truth

Katherine Heigl has signed on to star in the upcoming battle-of-the-sexes laugher The Ugly Truth. According to Variety, the film is being produced by Lakeshore Entertainment.

This new comedy will reteam Legally Blonde director Robert Luketic with that film's writers Karen McCullah Lutz and Kirsten Smith. The plot revolves around a morning show producer with relationship issues. She is involved in a series of outrageous tests by her chauvinistic correspondent. He hopes to prove his theories on love and help her win a mate. His game leads to some unexpected results.

The film is scheduled to begin production on April 15th.
