BlackFilm has revealed that rapper/actor The Game is one of the leading candidates to play B.A. Baracus in
The A-Team.
It was
previously reported that rapper Common was in the running for the B.A. Baracus role, which was played by Mr. T in the popular 1980s TV series, but it seems his recent casting alongside Queen Latifah in
Just Right might prevent him from taking on the role.
It was said that the film was to go before cameras in August, for a June 11, 2010 release date. We'll be sure to keep you posted on any and all news regarding this upcoming remake as soon as we have more information.

Heres an idea, give it to Derek Luke... the man is an amazing actor and for some reason he gets no recognition. I would love to see him get a main stream role like this so that he could showcase his acting.
the role of BA doesn't really require a "real" actor anyway. he just needs to be someone with whom you wouldn't want to fuck. ice cube? even i'd kick that midgets arse. let vin deisel have it.
Ive said it in the past , I sure wish a gangbanger would make the game , game over
you know who i would love to see has Ba Baracus : Quinton Rampage Jackson , this ufc fighter has been able to prove is acting chops in a few things now , hes a natural at acting there
I mean, think of it this way: what would happen if we made a remake of Delta Force, and replaced Chuck Norris as the lead role from the original?
I'll tell you what would happen, Chuck would kill everyone in Hollywood by throwing an asteroid into it, that's what.
For one, The Game hasn't been given a prominent role to show if he can act. Street Kings, he had to be in it for about eight minutes altogether. I can see him in the role.
Michael Clarke Duncan, I don't think can pull it off, I like the actor but it doesn't suit him. For Ving Rhames it would be typical. If you've seen Undisputed, then you have an idea. With the '...of the Dead' films Rhames done, it would be typical.
LL Cool J is a no.
If it came down to it, I'd choose between The Game or Michael Jai White (White played Spawn in the 1997 movie). Michael Jai White also appeared as Gambol in The Dark Knight.
That's what I have to say.
