Entertainment Weekly has announced that Patrick Wilson, best known for his role as Night Owl in
Watchmen, has joined Joe Carnahan's big screen adaptation of NBC's popular 80s action series
The A-Team. The actor will play a CIA Operative in the film. In other news,
Splash News has posted new pics of
The A-Team's iconic van, which, as seen in the images below, remains pretty faithful to the van from the television series:

Director Joe Carnahan says he will be using the original premise of the series as the template for his action film. In the original, four Vietnam vets convicted of armed robbery escape from military prison and became do-gooder mercenaries. The Middle East will replace Vietnam as the place the four did their tour of duty, but Carnahan said the origin story is the jumping-off point.
The A-Team stars Liam Neeson, Bradley Cooper, Sharlto Copley, Jessica Biel, Quinton Jackson, Yul Vazquez, and Patrick Wilson. It opens on June 6th, 2010.

That last picture is very strange. The person running in the foreground looks like he/she will be about three feet, by the time they reach the van. Usually, the person is larger in the foreground. Weird.
