Chris Rock is getting some company at his funeral... remake. According to
The Hollywood Reporter, Martin Lawrence and Tracy Morgan have joined Rock in his remake of
Death at a Funeral.
Neil LaBute is directing the remake of Frank Oz's
2007 film, from a script by Rock and Ayesha Carr. Rock will star alongside Lawrence and Morgan, but the specific roles haven't been revealed.
The film revolves around a funeral that goes awry with new deaths and misplaced corpses. No production schedule was released for the film.
