Joshua Jackson Joins J.J. Abrams' Fringe

Dawson's Creek's own Pacey Witter, aka Joshua Jackson, has joined the cast of J.J. Abrams' upcoming sci-fi drama Fringe. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Jackson will be playing the male lead in the series.

The two hour Fringe pilot was directed by Alex Graves. It revolves around FBI Agent Olivia Warren (Anna Torv), Peter Bishop (Jackson), and his own institutionalized scientist father Dr. Walter Bishop (John Noble) as they team up to search for undiscovered phenomena.

Filming on the pilot has already begun in Toronto.
