agreed. i really wish they would show us the monster. but you know they wont until the movie. i really really hope the monser in this one is not Godzilla. give that sometime. like another decade or so before you make Godzilla. I heard this is supposed to be like Rampage tho where the citizens get turned into the giant creatures. but we will have to wait and see how this all plays out.

i was extremely hype about this movie after seeing transformers. but after months passed and i learned nothing new, not even a dang title!! it died down. i just hope this trailer isn't too late.

I bet you we won't see the monster until the last 10 seconds of the 2 hour flick. It's that part when you know....it dies.

I hope it's not Godzilla because Toho has decided to retire the Godzilla franchise for a period of 5-10 years to renew interest in the future, possibly returning with a new film in 2013 or 2014 as Godzilla's 59th or 60th Anniversary.
If it is Godzilla it would have to be the one from the 1998 film by directed by Roland Emmerich and starred Matthew Broderick. Toho won't release the rights to the other Godzilla movies or characters in those movies.

the one thing i like about it is that the cast aren't the usual suspects. Its nice to see some relatively fresh faces which lend to the authenticity of it being a home movie. i won't be rushing out to see it but it least it has that.

.......where is the monster people???
Looks like a combo documentary meets horror film. It looks interesting, but at the same time it looks really silly, like a direct to DVD movie placed onto the big screen. With all the hype I hope it's not a let down like "The Blair Witch Project" which turned out to be a waste of time space! But it did have 1 hell of a marketing campaign!!

I went to go see Beowolf to go see this trailer the movie was kool cgi was 10 out 10. Well u finally see a part of the monster. Also the chick looks like somethings coming out of her body like in the movies Alien. Also it says Dead Dead in the street sign next to the Statues Head.

Just saw the trailer. I had heard rumers that it was suppose to be a version of the Godzilla movie through the eyes of the citizens of New York.

So I went back and took a look at the movie Godzilla. According to the clips here. The creature attacks at night. Godzilla shows up in the day time. The city is evacuated in the movie by the time night hits. Here it appears like there is still a lot of people in the city yet everywhere Godzilla came out in the movie they showed milatary personal and there were no civilians.

Of course the last seen on the clip with the bridge falling looked very similar to the ending of the Godzilla movie when they trap him on the bridge.

Looks like a major studio Blair Witch. Gunshots, explosions and hopefully some monsters will make this an instant rental classic.
