Comic Book Prequel for J.J. Abrams's Fringe

Source:  USA Today
USA Today has reported that J.J. Abrams' super-cool media collection (Alias, Lost, Cloverfield, and the next Star Trek film) plans to expand to comic books this fall when DC Comics releases a prequel to his highly anticipated TV series on Fox, Fringe.

According to the newspaper, they are currently seeking writers and artists, but the comic version will invariably hit stands on Aug. 27, two weeks before the two-hour premiere airs on Sept. 9.

Speculation about the shows' topic involves paranormal investigators looking into the mysterious landing of a jetliner with dead passengers.

A comic?
thats weak. You can't really fit much into "a" comic.
more than 1 installment would get the hype going and it would be something worth picking up and reading.
