Serena Williams, Anthony Anderson and Shar Jackson Guest Star On Bernie Mac

Tennis great Serena Williams guest-stars with Bernie Mac in his confessional on The Bernie Mac Show, offering him advice on the delicate relationship between sisters Friday, April 7 (8:30-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.

In this episode, "Spinning Wheels," Wanda's sister Valerie (Shar Jackson, "Moesha") shows up to celebrate Wanda's birthday and old sisterly rivalries get in the way when her plans to thrown Wanda a roller disco party for the occasion go awry and Bryana's Daddy, Bryan (Anthony Anderson, "Hustle & Flow," continuing his multi-episode arc), saves the day. Williams guest-stars to offer Bernie advice on the situation.

At 23, Williams has won a title in all four Grand Slam tournaments - seven in total, including four back-to-back. She has won 26 singles championships, 11 doubles championships, and was a gold medalist at the 2000 Olympics. In 2002, Williams won the Italian Open, French Open, Wimbledon and U.S. Open. On the heels of those accomplishments, Williams was named Associated Press Female Athlete of the Year, Best Sportswoman in the World by EFE News Agency of Spain and one of BBC's Sports Personalities of the Year, and was nominated for Sports Illustrated's Sportsman of the Year Award. In 2003, she won the Australian Open (singles and doubles), NASDAQ Open, French Indoors and Wimbledon. She also won two ESPY Awards: Female Athlete of the Year and Female Tennis Player of the Year.

Williams and her sister Venus appeared in the reality show "Venus for Real" on ABC Family. Her other acting credits include an appearance on "My Wife and Kids," a role as an ex-gangster on Showtime's "Street Time" and a leading role in an episode of Lifetime's "The Division." Williams has also loaned her voice talents to "The Simpsons" and Disney's "Higgleytown Heroes." She was featured among 10 individuals named "Fashion Trendsetters" by Vogue Magazine on a VH1/Vogue television special.

Anthony Anderson has appeared in over 20 films and has earned three NAACP Image Award nominations. Anderson will next be seen on the big screen in Martin Scorsese's The Departed with Leonardo DiCaprio, Matt Damon and Jack Nicholson. He appeared most recently in "Hustle & Flow" opposite Terrence Howard. In addition, Anderson joined the cast of the FX drama "The Shield" opposite Michael Chiklis and Glenn Close and will be recurring on the HBO series "Entourage," playing himself.

Anderson first gained attention as one of Jim Carrey's sons in "Me, Myself and Irene," and subsequently appeared in Scary Movie 3, Barbershop, Kangaroo Jack, Exit Wounds, Cradle 2 the Grave, Two Can Play That Game and Malibu\'s Most Wanted. He also starred on the small screen in his own WB sitcom "All About the Andersons," which was loosely based on his life.

Shar Jackson recently co-hosted her own reality show, "The Ex-Wives Club," which will air in spring or summer 2006. Jackson's acting career began when she enrolled in the legendary Al Fann Theatrical Ensemble at the age of 3. She was cast in national commercials, followed by numerous television roles, including parts in "My So-Called Life," "The Steve Harvey Show" and Clueless.

Jackson's most notable role was on the UPN sitcom "Moesha," where she played the character of "Niecey Jackson." In pursuit of a movie career, Jackson co-starred with Omar Epps and Sanaa Lathan in 2001's Love & Basketball, and before that the 1997 comedy "Goodburger." In 2001 she formed the pop and R&B group "MPULZ," which was featured on The Princess Diaries movie soundtrack.

Since its inception The Bernie Mac Show has featured guest appearances by some of America's hottest stars, including Halle Berry, Matt Damon, Billy Crystal, Ellen DeGeneres, Angela Bassett, Ashton Kutcher, Chris Rock, Don Cheadle, Don Rickles, Sugar Ray Leonard, Sugar Shane Mosley, Shaquille O'Neal, Wesley Snipes, Carl Reiner, Ice Cube, Penn & Teller, India.Arie, Orlando Jones, Tommy Davidson, Paula Abdul, Randy Jackson, Marcus Allen, Snoop Dogg and Isaac Hayes.
