It appears that Sony is indeed moving forward with a new
Spider-Man film, but it appears that Tobey Maguire is no part of it. According to
Latino Review, two names have been kicked around by producers Laura Ziskin and Grant Curtis to replace Maguire: Patrick Fugit and Michael Angarno.
No offers have been made to either actor as of yet, but those two appear to be at the top of the short list to portray Spidey. Oddly enough, the two actors have worked together in the same movie... as the same character. Fugit portrayed the teenage version of William Miller in
Almost Famous while Angarno played the the younger version.
It isn't clear if the Spidey overhaul is extending to the rest of the cast, but we'll be sure to keep you posted on more developments in this new movie.

If they chose one of these two, then it doesnt matter what kind of cool special effects they will use, it will still suck, cause the lead actor doesnt look like he would fitt the part.
And if they chose a person that`s right for the part, then they better not f**k up the new spiderman movies with some lame kid emo stuff.
