Amanda Bynes To Star In Sydney White

Amanda Bynes is set to star in the college comedy, Sydney White for Universal Pictures and Morgan Creek.

The film centers on a college freshman who pledges her late mother's once-dignified sorority, says Variety; she finds a new home with seven outcasts and attempts to transform the school's misguided social hierarchy. Sara Paxton and Matt Long also star.

Joe Nussbaum is directing Sydney White; production is scheduled to begin February 12th in Orlando, Florida.
