Pierce Brosnan and Maloof Motion Pictures are teaming up to produce the drama, The Big Biazarro.

Brosnan will also star in the film based on the Leonard Wise novel; Vondie Curtis-Hall is writing the screenplay and will direct. It's set in the world of high-stakes international gambling; Variety says Brosnan will play an elusive veteran card player who mentors a headstrong but talented protege.

A production schedule has not been set for The Big Biazarro.
