Heath Ledger Is Entering The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus!

Terry Gilliam has found his next project, a modern-day fantasy entitled The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus. According to Variety, the film will star Heath Ledger in the title role.

The story focuses on Dr. Parnassus, a man with the gift to guide the imagination of others. While traveling with his theater troupe, the good doctor offers his patients a chance to transcend reality by passing through a magical mirror.

Gilliam and Charles McKeown wrote the screenplay together. The film will begin production on December 1st in London. The crew will later move onto Vancouver.
