Brian Austin Green Is the Latest Rumored Batman Villain

Source:  MTV
Movie PictureIt seems that the parade of actors whose name has been dropped for taking on the role of Batman's next great villain will never end. The latest is Brian Austin Green (Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles), who told MTV that he would love to take on the role of the Riddler in the sequel to The Dark Knight.

"I would love to be the Riddler," Green said. He further explained "I hope to God that they don't try to replace Heath and have the Joker. And Two-Face is gone. So they need a new villain, and the Riddler makes sense," he said.

Green isn't ready to begin filming just yet, however. "That would take years of preparation. It's tough. Heath set the bar at a new level, which I think is fantastic for comic book lovers and movie lovers. He changed the face of what people expect out of those films. If you watch the old ones, I mean, they were great for what they were, having Danny Elfman's music, but this is a new level."

Of course, even if Nolan and company did decide to use The Riddler for the next film, this has Green competing with Johnny Depp for the role. And there's always the possibility of Angelina Jolie being the next villain, in the form of Catwoman. Let the speculation on the next great Bat-villain continue!

Black Mask should be the next villain. He would be the new Gotham city underworld crime lord/king.

An interesting way to end the Batman series would be for Bane to break Batman's back.

that's my theory in a nutshell. but, again that's only a theory. that's why i don't see any batman villain on 3. in the end,we may all be wrong about our expectations on the film. who knows! maybe one,or two,or a good(but tiny)bunch of us nailed it.

what the hey!!! why not now! because everything there is to learn about batman's rougue's gallery(specialy character profile and origin story etc. etc.)has already been displayed on the "ANIMATED SERIES". you may laugh,O.K.! but you were the ones who said christopher nolan is bringing on never before explored details and concepts of the batman mithos to the screen. if nolan displays all those details from the the animated series into the movies,it would render the animated collection useless, and that would be bad for sales for warner video. you have tounderstand the concept of corporate greed.

you're trying to figure out what villain will batman fight in the next movie, when most likely it will be about batman rescuing the narrows and gaining gotham's trust all over again on the way.

First of all I dont think that two face is dead. Second this guy sucks... Third Angelina is hot but i think she is too old for this role of catwomen if it even comes out. Now johnny Depp thast a mayby..we need someone that could proof us wrong just like heath did. At first i thought that he was going to suck, since i only saw him in A COUPLE OF FILM, BUT I WAS WRONG. He was great!!

Ole Picad as "Mr. Freeze"...that might be good. But what about David Tennet as "The Riddler"???? He's my second favorite Doctor, and looked absolutely insane at the end of the "Prisoner of Azcaban".

That is exactly the story line i could go for Comicbookfan, i mass escape from arkham would be cool to see, ecspecially if they show small cameos from other famous villians, already captured.
i remember reading in the tread a suggestion about hugo weaving as the riddler, that would be cool

I can't see him as "The Riddler". I could see him as "Mr. Freeze" for some reason though. Of course he is too young for that role. Now "Patrick Stewart", he could play "Mr.Freeze".

That and it wouldnt make sense to kill of such a huge character from the comics. He's to important of one to just appear in the movie for what like less than half so ya. I think comicbook fan and myself pretty much summed it up here.

angelina jolie as catwoman??? i think thats really gay. personally i dont think catwoman would be very beneficial to the like... keeping the qualities of darkness and severity of the previous films. it seems more like some sort of comical tease. like penguin as well i dont really like the thot of batman fighting that fat little cackling shit...
