Gives that "What If" factor that should make suspenseful, before all hell breaks loose towards the ending

I know people are going to be SO disappointed when they find out what the real cause of everything is. I personally think it's a great storyline, but I can already imagine people walking out...

Remembering from one of the trailers it's something to do with the earth's core, magnets going all over the place which in turn is messing everything else up. Movie looks alright

Cell, ur a douchebag. I wouldn't say M's a genius, but his movies r his own. Atleast he comes up with original ideas while the rest of hollywood remakes movies that no one has ever heard of or don't need remaking.

On a side note, the first trailer made it look like people were committing suicide for no apparent reason, now it looks as if a virus of some kind is killing everybody

I think this film will be something like "The Stand" by Stephen King W./the plot being something like the escape and spread of a human-made biological weapon!?!? ..Something for these Post-911 days?!

M. Night's movies have been hit and miss for me but theres no denying the guy is smart.And i trust this movie will be good.I think Mark Whalberg and John Leguizamo are both great actors and have been waiting for Zooey Deschanel to land a more serious role,I think she is GORGEOUS! I will see it!

The only "DECENT" M. Night Shyamalan films were:
"Wide Awake", "The Village" & "The Sixth Sense"...everything else he did sucked I.E. "Lady in the Water" & "Unbreakable"!

M. Night Shyamalan is "ONLY" known for making movies with contemporary supernatural plots that usually end with a twist ending...& the "twist ending" is wearing out fast!!

I hope "The Happening" doesn't turn out to be another "Lady in the Water"! This was the "WORST" film of 2006!

I loved the fact when "Lady in the Water" came out, The New York Post wrote that the film was "dead in the water", criticizing Shyamalan as a "crackpot with messianic delusions."

Maybe Al Gore will show up at the end of the movie. This trailer reminds me from the South Park episode Two Days Before the Day After Tomorrow.

How the hell is it global warming? Don't ya think we'd be seeing al gore in thier somewhere? lol
