/Film is reporting that the new Matthew Vaughn film
Kick-Ass will be premiering brand new footage from the film at the San Diego event this year.
The site revealed that the film's panel will take place on Thursday, July 23, sometime later in the day, and that director Matthew Vaughn and other cast members, to be announced at a later date, will be on the panel as well.
A brand new photo of Chloe Moretz as the pre-teen assassin Hit Girl was also released by the site, which you can take a look at below.
Kick-Ass follows the story of a 15-year-old boy named Dave Lizewski who, despite living in the "real world", decides to become a superhero. The film was co-written by and is being directed by Matthew Vaughn. The film stars Aaron Johnson, Lyndsy Fonseca, Chloe Moretz, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Clark Duke and Nicolas Cage.
