CBS Gets Jerry Bruckheimer's Eleventh Hour

Source:  Variety
The Jerry Bruckheimer produced adaptation of the British thriller Eleventh Hour has gone to CBS. According to Variety, Warner Brothers has made a huge multimillion dollar deal with CBS for the rights to the series.

This is being called the biggest television deal ever made during development season. The pilot will be produced with an unheard of four million dollar budget. CBS has bought thirteen episodes of the series, which has been likened to The Ex-Files.

Producer Bruckheimer will reteam with his CSI: Crime Scene Investigation director Danny Cannon and screenwriter Mick Davis, who recently penned the feature film The Invisible, on the project. Even if CBS doesn't like the pilot, they can send the series overseas where it might have a chance at recouping it's budget.
