Brand New Max Payne Trailer Hits

Watch it here while you can, folks. A new teaser trailer has just been posted on YouTube for Max Payne, which is set to hit theaters on October 17. Click below to get your first look at Mark Wahlberg in action as the title character.


Wahlberg will play the titular cop who is haunted by the tragic loss of his family and has little regard for rules as he investigates a series of mysterious murders. He finds himself up against an adversary bent on destroying Max and the streets he protects. Based on the popular video game from Rockstar Games.

what about Doom, Resident Evil 1,2,3, Silent Hill?
and Mortal Kombat was good, Annilation sucked donkey balls!

the only games to movies that really really sucked were anything that Uwe Boll had his dirty grubby german hands on!

While I know this is a game of some sort, it looks kind of cool, I've never played the game. So my opinion when I see this movie will largely be based upon the movie, and not it's relation to the game.

Well I can see what Celluloid is saying with Vin Diesel's wife or girlfriend died in the movie. Besides that no relation to A Man Apart, The Punisher yes!

Why would it remind you of A Man Apart? It's closer to Sin City and The Punisher than anything. A Man Apart is nothing like Max Payne.

I don't know, this trailer looks good but John Moore is not a very good director and I read on shacknews that they are aiming for a PG-13 rating. I don't think the story can be properly told in a PG-13 movie. Aside from it being naturally dark and violent, drugs play a big role and the MPAA hates any mention of drugs.
