Steven Guttenberg has signed on to star in the upcoming drama The Well. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Stephen Manuel is directing this film about a child that has disappeared.

The plot revolves around a divorcing couple whose son turns up missing. After a desperate search is conducted, the child is found at the bottom of a well.

Sabine Leipert and Julia Neumann wrote the screenplay. Filming begins this week in Berlin.
