Comedy Central Plans New Episodes of Futurama!

Source:  Collider
Bender fans rejoice! Collider.com recently discovered that Comedy Central is set to produce thirteen brand new episodes of the former Fox animated sitcom Futurama. This news comes as a rumor, but trustworthy sources claim that Futurama production offices have opened, and casting is about to start soon.

There was no news on what fans can expect from these new episodes. The original series ran on Fox from March of 1999 to August of 2003. In 2007, the show was resurrected as a series of straight-to-video animated films. Comedy Central's new episodes will be the third incarnation of Futurama, but we suspect most of the main characters will return.

Collider.com expects an official announcement soon. They also surmise that Futurama will more than likely have some sort of presence at Comic Con this year.
