I'd like to see a GOOD adaptation of the series... but he doesn't necessarily have to be American (it's not like he's Captain America).

Although i don't like the idea of Clive Owen, he does have the chin for it.
Now, why should this guy be american?.... It's all based from a British comic. Plus, it seems anytime a big character is up for grabs such as Batman, Wolverine and the like. They pick anything but american actors to play these roles. Plus, when it came to picking the new Capt America, there wasn't one good suggestion that was american. Apart from maybe Will Smith, but we know thats not going to happen. I think the american action hero is dying a death in the movie scene.

Actually, it DOES matter if I like him. I like Judge Dredd, but I do not like Clive Owen. Just because he LOOKS like Dredd doesn't mean he's going to pull him off.

I do agree with Killerman, though, he SHOULD be American.

I liked.... was it Stallone? As Judge Dredd, but I could also see Johnny Depp..... lolz I'm just shittin' you. Not Clive, though, I don't like him (As if that matters to the big director dudes! XD!).

clive owen. great choice. but i didn't really have a problem with the first one. although stallone overplayed his role, the movie was pretty decent.
