The United States of Tara Will Premiere in January

Diablo Cody's new creation can be seen first this January. According to Variety, Showtime has given a January 18 premiere date to The United States of Tara.

Showtime will bow the series at 10 PM, directly following the sixth season premiere of The L Word at 9 PM.

The series was based off an idea by Steven Spielberg and written by Juno's Oscar-winning screenwriter Diablo Cody. The show will center on a housewife who suffers from multiple-personality disorder.
