It seems like all of the negative buzz on
Justice League: Mortal, from questions about casting to George Miller's problems with Australia's tax rebate, to poor reviews of the script have taken their toll. According to
CHUD, producer Joel Silver says that
Justice League: Mortal is tabled for now.
Does this mean we'll never see a
Justice League movie? Not at all. But it does mean that it'll probably be some time before there is any new forward movement on the film, and it will likely have a different script and cast. Perhaps Warner Bros. and DC will take a page from Marvel's book, and try to use Brandon Routh and Christian Bale as the center-piece of a
Justice League film.
In the meantime, keep reading MovieWeb and SuperheroFlix for any news about future
Justice League projects.
