Has Justice League: Mortal Been Cancelled?

It seems like all of the negative buzz on Justice League: Mortal, from questions about casting to George Miller's problems with Australia's tax rebate, to poor reviews of the script have taken their toll. According to CHUD, producer Joel Silver says that Justice League: Mortal is tabled for now.

Does this mean we'll never see a Justice League movie? Not at all. But it does mean that it'll probably be some time before there is any new forward movement on the film, and it will likely have a different script and cast. Perhaps Warner Bros. and DC will take a page from Marvel's book, and try to use Brandon Routh and Christian Bale as the center-piece of a Justice League film.

thank god. the cast sounded horrible. a bunch of models and people from other countries to play batman and superman. the only person i knew was common and he is suppose to play the green lantern

well its logical for it to be moved bak. Such a movie as this should take well planning, good casting, and awesome but awesome storyline. PLUS...if you've watched the new Incredible HUlk....Justice league is rumored in the end of the movie.

sometimes i wonder if you even know what it is your saying trav.. or possibly the world has become that dilute that a 14 year old can use "suck it" metaphorically. When i was 14 I was egging peoples houses and leaving little post it notes on peoples cars saying "how safe are your tires" but i mean I rarely do that anymore..what i'm gettin at is you should probably go ride a bike or find some human interaction, possibly an Awesom-O?

the casting practices in hollywood are currently very sub-par, in my opinion. if they had gone forward with this we would surely have wound up with a bunch of 19 year old superheroes, and all the female leads would have been a bunch of covergirls with no soul or acting ability beneath their perfect tans and 400$ hair styles.

thats just my opinion though, im part of the 1% of america that prefers a bit of realism and grit in his movies.

This is some of the best news ever. When did they decide on "Justice League: Mortal" for the title? Thats retarded. Thank God they are stopping this before it ruined DC's reputation. Seriously how hard is it to pen a kick ass Justice League movie. You barely have to try. I just want to end by saying "Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you"
