on the recent heroes episode Nov.26 2007 Monday the character Elle is drinking a Slusho Drink so they are advertising and on the slusho.jp website it has now 8 sections one talking about buying a machine and bringing slush0 to the west and gives a number and email

the writing on the back of the card when translated to english is the recipe for the omlette being held by the cook.

i kind of agree with that but remember slusho definately has to have something to do with this and how can cthulhu have anything to do with slusho?

I agree it is a monster movie, but it's not Godzilla, if you look at Abrams record you will see he has been original, he has never redone anything and Godzilla never had a market in the U.S. It's not Voltron either because that is already in production with another company and director. I think youngmachines is right, it's a cthulhu story, some of the viral stuff mentions creatures of the deep and the dark one, those were always used when mentioning a number of Cthulhu demons. But whatever it was it will be original, because it is J.J. Abrams

Hey I found this secondary slusho site when trying to access the real one. It's http://www.slushozoom.com/. There's an intresting quote about extinction and lots of photographs and old paintings of giants and things that have emerged from the sea. If you click on any photo it takes you do a diffrent site. Usually something possibly related like a site on genetics, etc. Could be a fake someone set up or related. Unknown at this time.

I think i've got it.
After spending countless hours reading reviews and really bad guesses (some involving giant lions) I do believe i have it figured out. all the solid information collected about turns to one beast: Cthulhu.
If you don't know about Cthulhu (Kathoolhoo) all you really need to know is that he's huge,Comes from the sea, Has claw's, he's pretty much the epidemy of terror, He is often preceded by the epithet Great, Dead, or Dread, and is said to look like A pulpy, tentacled head (dragon-y) surmounted a grotesque and scaly body with rudimentary wings.

With the fist hand accounts of filming there is said to be one huge creature with a lot of minions and when the minions are mentioned there is always the word "star" floating around. Well Mr.Cthulhu indeed does have that also: "The star-spawn of Cthulhu, or Cthulhi, have a physical simility with Cthulhu himself, but are of far smaller size. This race arrived with him, but relatively little is known about them. On earth they built the city R'lyeh, which later sank in the ocean, and where they still dwell with Cthulhu"

So crafty JJ Abrams if you really did want to do an original horror flick Cthulhu would be for you.

Has anyone noticed that on the site with the pictures, you can flip the pictures over? a couple of them have random things written on the back. just grab one, make sure it's on top, and jerk the mouse, and they will turn over. One says "Don't forget who takes care of you; Love J" and the other one is from "Jamie" and it says something about her hotness. Check it out.

Has anyone noticed on the 1-18-08.com pictures on the very blurred one times 1:24am with the soldier in center you can make out a face on a monster on his uniform?

here is the actual storie.I have for you a description of a unseen new sequence from the film you all know as Cloverfield.

You know, the one with the monster?

I can now safely say the teaser is not separate from the film, its part of the beginning which was shown in an abridged fashion for the purpose of the teaser, it's longer in the movie.

The new scene opens with several traumatized survivors, moving through a very dark corridor there's slight cold blue illumination from halogen emergency lighting, a girl in the group is badly beaten up she's bleeding and looks very sickly. The main group is comprised of 3 characters, Rob from the main trailer, the cameraman and a girl, though there may be others.

This scene takes place after the initial attack of "The monster" the scene we all saw in theatres. Rob is taking charge and telling everyone to keep calm, the girl says she doesn't feel so good.

They limp along until US Army soldiers storm in shouting at them, demanding they drop they're weapons, they shout back they're unarmed, there's a lot of commotion, then they're herded briskly up some E.T style scientific tubing into a makeshift aid center, its very dark, threes lots of doctors tending to wounded and military walking about making the scene very busy. "What is that thing?" they ask as they catch their breath, the cryptic answer comes from a soldier "We don't know, but it's winning"

The imagery in this scene is like something after a terrorist bombing. A carcass is wheeled past with his guts hanging out, the cameraman struggles to take in the surroundings.

Rob gets angry with the aggressiveness of the soldiers who now tell them they can't leave, "I'm going out there, if you want to stop me you'll have to shoot me" we gather he's looking for his girlfriend. "I feel really sick" the girl unexpectedly mutters, the camera pans to her, shes looks like shes about to throw up, and curiously is crying blood from her right eye. Someone shouts "She's been bitten!"

Chaos ensues... Scene end. That's all you get, this may be used for promotion and is a possibility for an upcoming trailer.

I saw a storie at mania.com about a clip discription from the movie ill post the site if any one wants just let me know .It says that rob and some of his friends get taken to a make shift med center and rob asks one of the soldgers "what is that thing?" and the soldger replies"I don't know but its winning" later it says that one of robs friends a girl who is looking like she is going to puke says"I don't feel to good." and someone says" She's been bitten" the monster is suposed to be scaley with some kind of ele type creatures hanging off it.

I have to agree with "Ispeed.." that theory was debunked like a month ago...
