Via his
official blog, Rob Zombie has announced that filming is a wrap for
H2, and not only that, he revealed the official first look of a bloody-masked Michael Myers. The horror sequel will hit theaters August 28, 2009.
Here's what he had to say:

God, I can't wait for this.
WOW!!! ANOTHER REMAKE!!! The 1st Re-Make of Halloween was shit...Rob Zombie turned into another Hollywood hack and sold out.....I wouldn't waste "MY" money in these hard economic times on a film that was already made ...and I own!!!!
Mask looks good too. And I'm glad they brought back Malcom McDowell, since he was the only real interesting character in the last one. Odd though, since I only rated Zombie's Halloween with a 2.5 or so. Oh well, I'll probably see this anyway.
i'm going to wait for the dvd on this one.
I'm looking forward to this.
