Jesse Bradford is finally starring in something else that has the potential to be as good as
Swimfan. According to
The Hollywood Reporter, Bradford is signed to
The Echo. It is a remake of the acclaimed Filipino thriller
Sigaw.
The film revolves around a young ex-con who moves in next door to an abusive police officer. When the petty thief, to be played by Bradford, intervenes, he becomes trapped in an ancient curse.
The director of the original film, Yam Laranas, will also be behind the camera for this one. Eric Bernt, who wrote
The Hitcher and
Romeo Must Die, is writing the screenplay.
The film will begin shooting mid-august in Toronto.
