If this latest deal goes through, it seems Keanu Reeves will have a director for his upcoming comic book adaptation. According to Variety, Carl Rinsch is nearing a deal to direct 47 Ronin starring Keanu Reeves for Universal Pictures.

Rinsch would be making his directorial debut in the film, but he was previously attached for the upcoming Alien Prequel before Ridley Scott came on board to direct.

Rinsch had previously directed commercials for such companies as BMW, Heineken and Sprite.
