MTV.com recently caught up with
The Incredible Hulk star Edward Norton and he discussed playing the green giant in the much talked about
The Avengers movie.
"It's purely a function of time. It's always about just working things out on the schedule. I get very busy. You have to deal with the demands of your moment. I tend to keep my head in the thing I'm doing and I don't speculate or worry too much about what two or three blocks down the thing is going to be. I know all these things will reveal themselves and work themselves out."
He then went on talk more about the his possible involvement in the project.
"The thing about their universe that's fun is that it all cross-pollinates. Even when I was working on the
The Incredible Hulk script, I tried to plug in the whole super-soldier serum thing from Captain America."

I call people posers if they jump on the fucking bandwagon and act like connoisseurs. Don't be a tw@ vital.
Btw, Messenger, Comrade calls people posers if they don't know every fucking detail about a comic book character.
He's not a "villain" either, at least not in the typical sense of the word. He's a Frankenstein-like character, or King Kong. Powerful, destructive, but easily misunderstood.
I liked the concept in the Incredible Hulk where Banner thinks he can "aim" the Hulk, as in unleash his rage, but at a specific target, instead of just smashing whatever he sees. With Banner seemingly able to have some control over his transformations at the end of the film, the Avengers would be smart to use this to their advantage.
Of course, if you were a comics fan and not a poser you might know that.
The fact that he's even involved in this is somewhat of a miracle. After the studio cut the crap out (all of Norton's Hulk humanizing scenes) of "The Incredible Hulk", to keep it more of an action film, I didn't think that he would ever come near it again. The footage (All great, powerful and convincing performances by Norton) are on the "Deleted Scenes" of the DVD, but the movie would have been so much better as an extended cut. He was plenty pissed (and deservedly so) when they cut those scenes out. The movie would have been awesome with them included. Hopefully his enthusiasm hasn't soured in any way.
But I agree too that the Hulk as a good guy is kind of boring.
Hulk should be a wild, unstoppable beast beating to the blood.
I don't buy the "Hulk as a hero" thing. That's why all the comics and both movies are not great.
