Marvel Studios' president of production Kevin Feige was at the San Diego Comic-Con 2009 and
Collider managed to get Feige to reveal a bit about what superheroes we might expect from
The Avengers film. Take a look at what he had to say below.
Kevin: I think we know. It's going to be
Iron Man,
Thor,
Captain America, Nick Fury. I think it's safe to assume that there will be some members of the
Hulk universe in the film as well. In terms of the additional, I think Black Widow for sure. SHIELD's organization for sure. And, again, what's exciting to me about the Avengers movie are seeing those four characters together and interact with each other. Anywhere from the first issue of the Avengers to Civil War, the dynamic between Steve Rogers and Tony Stark is awesome and fascinating. It brings out sides of the others that won't be brought out in their own franchises. Throwing
Thor into the mix is a whole other thing and I think that will be cool. So to pile in another ten or fifteen...or frankly even four...I think will be too many.
Is the
Hulk in it?
Kevin: You know Zack Penn is outlining it as we speak so we'll see.
The Avengers is currently set for a 2012 release date. We'll certainly keep you posted on any new updates surrounding this new film.

Then there's the "Shazam" saying, lightning dude; Captain Marvel in the DC universe.
Lol, help any?
The last scene in Hulk 2 shows us that Banner is in Vancouver BC and trying to control his transformations. It would be cool to show that he's got some power over them, enough to control when he transforms, so he could be a good guy.
And btw, Hawkeye can work if they introduce him in "Captain America: the First Avenger". Anyways, i can't wait.
Baron Zemo should be in Captain America. That would be cool. It could set up the Masters of Evil. When Zemo discovers Cap has been thawed out he puts together his own team...something like that. Hank Pym could be working on the Ultron/Vision project throughout the film setting up the sequel.
I thought that Hulk was to be a villain. The Avengers assembled as a force strong enough to stop Hulk.
Then maybe another force rises up more menacing the the misunderstood Hulk and the jade giant joins the group.
I think there are some good inbuilt villains for the avengers to use, at least so they don't have to steal other characters'.
Examples:
Loki
Ultron w/Vision
those right there are fucking cool. I would love to see the Ultron/Vision thing happen, with more of an Ultimate twist (like maybe there's an army of Vision Robots)
