In a story from RIA Novosti (that was translated by Russia-InfoCentre) it looks like director Timur Bekmambetov is about to start prepping the shoot of Wanted 2. Here is what the director had to say about the planned sequel:



Bekmambetov went on to say that Angelina Jolie will be making a comeback in this new film, even though her character, Fox, died in the first Wanted. He also went on say that new characters will also be introduced.



For Wanted 2, the creative team is working on the challenge of continuing the story after most of the principal characters ended the original in no position for an encore.

Wanted 2 will come to theaters in 2010 from Universal Pictures.
