Blu-ray Players Below $200 for Holiday Season?

If you want a Blu-Ray player under your Christmas tree this year, it seems they might be more affordable than ever this holiday season. According to Blu-Ray.com, industry sources have revealed to the site that there may be a limited amount of Blu-Ray players on sale for below the $200 mark this holiday season.

It was said that it will be "at least one company" that may roll out BD players at that price and they would likely only be available on "door buster" sales during Black Friday - the day after Thanksgiving and the official start of the Christmas shopping season.

These prices will likely only be available for Profile 1.1 players, as companies are trying to push Profile 2.0 players, which are compatible with BD Live features.
