Kristin Kreuk Address Fans About Her Involvement with Season Eight of Smallville

Source:  Kryptonsite
It had already been confirmed that Kristin Kreuk would not be returning to Smallville as a regular cast member when its eighth season begins. In a post to her Facebook page, reprinted by Kryptonsite, the actress addresses her fans about her involvement with the show that made her famous.

Hey Team...

So, I thought I would give those of you curious about Smallville a brief debrief. I am in Bangkok for a few more months. So, no shooting of the Ville for me. I will return for a undetermined, although small, number of episodes in season 8
.
I am not really opening up the floor for lots of discussion, because it is not really the place for it. Obviously I have loved my time on the show, but I am equally as thrilled to move on to new endeavors. One of which is very dear to me, and that is GBD [Girls By Design]. So thank you all for your really fabulous support and passion!!! I hope this clears up most of the questions...

xoxo
Kristin

Smallville airs Thursday nights on the CW. The drama about the early days of Clark Kent stars Tom Welling, Michael Rosenbaum, Kristen Kreuk, John Glover, Erica Durance, Allison Mack, Aaron Ashmore and Laura Vandervoot.

Kristin was a big reason the WB picked up Smallville,
it is great that she will show up in season 8
in some capacity...her character is one of the best on the show..and on the network.

Good to see Kristin is moving on to movies now.

Congrats Kristin.

Ha, Adios to the WORST character ever to hit TV and ruin a show.

Now if only Boobs Lane could die, this might be a worthwhile show to watch.

The series is over!!!! They would have to kill off Chloe to bring the series up to date with the Superman movie. Chloe, the actress and the character, sure beats Lois, the actress and the character. Lois's silicone breasts are way too huge for that old face! The series should be titled Clark and Lois, the middle-age years.

Please tell me you're joking about another Streetfighter movie. I didn't think that was going to happen.

She doesn't seem to be too torn up about leaving the show that gave her a career. She should have given the people/fans who keep up with this crap a verisimilitude of give a damn.

But since she's beautiful, I guess we can look forward to her as Chun Li in the upcoming Streetfighter movie...

I LOVE smallville BUT Kristen was the only person letting the show down. They should have let her go before now. BUT other than that I still love Smallville. I have a sad feeling though that season 8 will be the last.
