Generation 2 Megatron Signs Up for Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen

CHUD is reporting this morning that the upcoming sequel Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen will indeed bring back Megatron. And this time, he will be in the guise of the Transformers Generation 2 tank.

CHUD goes onto explain that Megatron is resurrected by the Autobots to help defeat new villain The Fallen (a character from the more recent Transformers comic books). To read the Amazing Mr. Faraci's entire piece about the matter, Click Here!

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen is set to open June 26th, 2009.

I'll have to watch the old series again. Everything was different in Armada. No Dinobots for a start eh? What was that all about? Soon as I see a single Dinobot, I'll feel 10 years old again.

I think that Megatron is going to be ressurected by Starscream again, like in the old cartoons from the 90's, and have the new armor along with the new name Galbatron. They should bring the minibots into this, along with three kids.

I hope Galvatron does make an appearance, as Megatron got turned into him by Unicron. He's gotta be one of the films at some point, as he was the Tranformer's ultimate nemesis. I bring Unicron up on virtually every Tranformers thread 'cos here's hoping.

no radimus i am not calling out anyone but most movie goers aren't all too "hip an happen" with transformers... most ppl when transformers first came out probably said "YEEEHAAA look MAA Transformen Cars" and didn't think holy crap i can't wait to see megatron starscream and bumblebee

i think Megatron will team up with the autobots out of necessity and once the fallen is out of the picture he will go back to being a bad ass.... as for Galvatron i do believe he might (but then again with how most of the ppl don't follow transformers other then the moives i do believe the bigshots will probably just keep him as megatron)

Not sure if anyone knows but I heard a rumor that they are going to make Hot Rod a subaru wrx imprezza. I think that would be pretty sweet. Anyone hear anything else? I think that vehicle goes along the lines of a hot head. Thoughts?

if thats the case rad, then how come I saw megatron the other day outside of the local petsmart laying into a yellow minicooper.. in broad daylight! The guy in the front seat looked pretty freaked out, poor fella.
