The Superrelease of
Bubble was or wasn't a success depending on who you talk with, but that hasn't stopped Magnolia Pictures and 2929 Entertainment from trying again.
According to
Home Media Retailing, on April 18th, 2006
Herbie Hancock: Possibilities will be released in theaters, on DVD and cable television. This film is a documentary on the famous musician and examines the making of his 2005 CD,
Possibilities.
While it has been reported that
Bubble only made $145,000 on just 32 screens, Randy Wells, VP of Magnolia Home Entertainment, claims that "DVD and pay-per-view receipts" pushed that films final take to $5 million dollars.
Bubble's budget was reported at being $1.6 million.
