The second picture gives me more hope. If anything, I'll see it for Wes Anderson's direction.

the way these pictures are shot, Mr. Fox just looks evil, like rapist childmolester evil. Why couldn't hollywood grow a pair of balls and bring back hand drawn animation? Would that be such a crime?

I'm looking over some of the negative comments about these pictures, and I really don't get it. It's a family film, and nothing in these images indicates much of anything, other than that these are really good stop motion models.

"Pure crap"? What the fuck?
"not exciting at all"? It's not a Michael Bay thing (Michael Bay doesn't make films), douchetard.
"Gay." Why? Because there's no ICP music in it asshole?
"The film looks like shit." IT'S TWO PICTURES!

Oh, and the bullshit about, "They should use CGI, not stop-motion." You people are fucking morons. CGI is destroying Hollywood. Case and point, the non-stop stream of inane, cheaply and carelessly produced PIXAR wannabes, the last TMNT movie, fucking GI JOE, the New Star Wars Trilogy. All huge pieces of shit (no, I haven't seen JOE yet, but I think the trailer speaks for itself) But directors like Peter Jackson and Guillermo Del Toro who would rather use something real and have it look a little shabby aesthetically that something obviously fake and manufactured are real filmmakers. Before you say "LOTR was 90% digital, remember that except for the big monsters, virtually all of the "digital" characters in that movie were real actors that were filmed, copied and pasted 160,000 times.

How would you have felt if Iron Man were done entirely in CG you pricks?

Favorite director of mine adapting a work by a favorite author of mine. No complaints here.

Agreed J.A., CGI was the best bet.

We'll just have to wait and see...

Nah shelley its most probably a still image from the part in the book where they are trying to dodge the 3 farmers, whom want to kill Mr Fox...Or where he is showing his family the tunnels.

OMFG they completely demolished this, Stop-Motion, WTF?

They should have CGI'd this...

I fucking hate this, they literally destroyed my childhood novel.
The film looks like shit but the novel is pretty funny.

I'll probably ending up seeing it to judge it, lol and plus because its an adaptation from my favourite childhood novel
