HBO has set a premiere date for one of its hit series' fourth season. According to Variety, Big Love will debut its fourth season on January 10, 2010.

The trade also confirmed the earlier news that Sissy Spacek has signed onto the series for the new season, portraying a powerful Washington D.C. lobbyist. Her arc will begin in the season's third episode.

The series, which stars Bill Paxton, Jeanne Tripplehorn, Chloe Sevigny, Ginnifer Goodwin and Amanda Seyfried, is currently in production.
