Test Shoots Begin for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows

Source:  Emma Watson
Harry Potter star Emma Watson updated her official website with the following tidbits:

On Monday I go in for test shoots for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (part 1). I am quite excited to be back actually. I don't think I have seen Dan since the summer since he left for NY and Rupert since Autumn. I think I have a couple of costume fittings and a hair appointment to make my hair a bit browner. Not sure whether we have a couple rehearsals as well.

Excited to see if they have cast anyone yet...

Warner Bros. Pictures has planned a November 19, 2010 release for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part I, followed by a May 2011 release of Part II.

Yeah...it has a different meaning...playwriters do that to allow the audience to be a part of the story, it allows the individual to decide how he wanted the story to end....there was a play before the 50 first date movie that ended as her waking up but they never told the audience wether or not she remembers in the end....it was for them to decide...

I like that style...more engaging that way

I think the style of writing is pretty interesting because sometimes it can have a deeper meaning to it and people have kind of different opinion.
I'm doing my next film like that, well the current one i have in production, the guy commits suicide but when he gets up from his brother's grave you see the real one and then you see his spirit come out from him and it fades to black.

But majority of low-budget films do that to make it more interested and more auidence friendly and also due to budget.
Tarantino even stated that if he had a bigger budget he would have shown everything from the heist to what happened to Mr Pink. But he stated in the same interview that he was glad he had that budget because if it wasn't for it, he probably wouldn't be around now and Reservoir Dogs wouldn't have been as successful as it was.

Sometimes that type of writing bothers me. Making the audience choose. Seems like the writers try to take the easy way out by doing things like that, not to say this is what Tarantino did in this, but i've noticed similar films that way.

I'd like to think he did as a person watching the film.

But as a screenwriter, i'd like to think not or that he gets arrested because it kind of creates a atmosphere of resolution.

But i think that's why Tarantino did that so you create the ending for yourself upon a question.
Did Pink survive also he is the only one who knew where the money was...

Reservoir Dogs was a great film. My favorite Tarantino film. Hey, by the way, do you think Pink got away? I hear guns going off, but i hear a car screehing off, sounds like he got away.

Pulp Fiction & Godfather for their time could be actually considered as low-budget movies, but i wouldn't consider them being low budget now, because that amount of money ($8.5 million for Pulp Fiction and $6 million for Godfather) aint the samne amount as it was back then. Because of inflation and the whole change in the economical system.
Casino is not even no where close to a low-budget it was made on a $50 something million budget.
Halloween that is definately low-budget it was made on like $320 thousand but then again you have to look at the time they were made, but yes i'll consider that since my definition of a low-budget film is a film made under 10 million.

A good one is Reservoir Dogs both an Art film and low-budget

Casino, Pulp fiction, The Godfather, Halloween, just to name a few. And if you try to bring up that Art film shit. Art can be looked at in very different ways when your watching movies.

No you see the simple interpretation of it that Donnie is dead from the beginning of the film and it then shows you what would have happened if he did have survived, and that either way the time limit that he would have been given would be the day he would have died, despite cheating death the first time.

Ok what other low-budget film have you seen better than donnie darko, just wondering because i enjoy watching Art Films

January 29th, 2009 5:21pm
My interpretation, well. Shit. Simply and purely shit. In all honestly, i completely understood it. But it was just a bad film to me, i've seen better low budget films. Everyone does have to like what i like. I'm the master, not an idiot. You bow to me, everytime you give into my arguments, fool. Well, sorry to say this friend, but your IQ is laughable. Your an idiot bottom line. Thinking your smart just because you've seen two pieces of shit, that you think is actually good. I bet Sesame Street still challenges your mind, lol. Nough said.

January 29th, 2009 4:50pm
Ok, can i ask you what was your interpretation of Donnie Darko's story?

Also note everyone has their own taste in films, everyone doesn't have to like what you like.
If you believe that everyone has to like the same things, then your an idiot.

My point that i was making is that Donnie Darko and other experimental films such as Reqieum For A Dream are films that challenge an auidence mentally and physically, henceforth why people don't appreciate them and come out the viewing baffled or thinking it's shit because they had to think about...What the heck the movie they just saw was about and what the fuck was going on.

Also you stated 'Why do you try to put yourself with a high IQ?'

the answer to that is simple, because i do have a high IQ
  (Delete)
January 29th, 2009 4:41pm
No, you don't. Why do you try to put yourself with a high IQ? Your obviously a fool like your cocksucking, bith ass, mother. Donnie Darko is shit, just like you are you piece of shit. Shit liking shit. Nough said.

January 29th, 2009 12:45pm
Actually you need to be really intelligent to understand Donnie Darko. You see many people don't enjoy or appreciate low-budget / expermiental films like Donnie Darko & Reqieum For A Dream, because people don't wanna think.
Low-budget and experimental are designed to challenge the auidence and their perspectivational viewpoints of the films interpretation.

And maybe one day you can stop selling crack in the hood, whom know the communitywill appreciate it

Ah Killerman your great amusement, any one on the net ever tell you that since you believe their your only friends...

Well everyone has their opinion to films, maybe Donnie Darko was too complexingly confusing for you to understand, since it divides itself as a quite experimental low budget film, and its visual art of storytelling is unique but obviously that would be too complicated for you to understand since your IQ of film-creation and unique visual storytelling is not up to scratch, because your an individual that doesn't appreciate the art of film-making.

Truthfully no one knows how to appreciate something until they create something that is appreciated. Which data operators create zilch.

Have fun with that, kids. You can say all you want about me, Mr. Incoherent Basher. I'm not coming back to this thread, so I won't read whatever garbage you have to say... yet again. I have better things to do, a better life than you will ever have, so type whatever you want about me. It will be a waste of your time. Oh, and keep up with your retardness if you want. The moderators of this site have kicked scum like you from time to time. I won't miss you in the least.

Have fun with your job making, what was that? "shit" as you put it? Working at a manure plant? Nice. I bet you're contributing A LOT to it. Have fun with that and your own place, a cardboard box in an alley next to a gay hobo. If anyone's an idiot here, it's you. Take your delusions about grandfathers and see a therapist. Seriously, you need help.

You'll amount to nothing if you trash talk wherever you go. Nough said.
