Night at the Museum 2, Fantastic Voyage and Dragonball Z to Be Filmed in Montreal

According to The Gazette, three high-profile films are expected to be shot in Montreal over the next year:

The 20th Century Fox studio is expected to shoot three big-budget movies in Montreal over the next year; each has a budget of at least $100 million. The films are the Night at the Museum sequel Another Night , Independence Day director Roland Emmerich's remake of the sci-fi flick Fantastic Voyage and a big-screen adaptation of the Japanese manga Dragonball Z.

Another Night is the follow-up to the family film directed by former Montrealer Shawn Levy, which grossed $250 million at the North American box office last year. Like the first film, the sequel will once again be set at New York's Museum of Natural History and will feature many of the same characters, including the nightwatchman played by Ben Stiller. Robin Williams, who played Theodore Roosevelt, is also expected to be back.

I thought night at the museum was awesome so i welcome the sequel. But yeah i agree remakes most of the time are crap. The good remakes are ones that nobody ever heard of the original and don't know it's a remake.I hate when they remake classic movies that were great to start and need no remaking.

and a remake of the sci-fi flick "Fantastic Voyage" Jesus Christ NO!!!!!!!!! Director Roland Emmerich couldn't direct his own mother! I hated "ID4". That wasthe biggest joke in cenima history next to "Heaven's Gate" or "Ishtar". HOLLYWOOD STOP TRYING TO RE-MAKE FILMS OR UP-DATE THEM OR SOME OTHER STUPID TERM HOLLYWOOD LIKES TO USE. Just clean-up the orginial print and put it back in theateres!!! The remake "Fantastic Voyage" is going to turn into a bad acted CGI mess! I will skip that! Next to "Halloween" I don't think I can't handle watching another great film turned into crap! Power to the people who punish bad cinema!

"Another Night"?? Oh God no, will Hollywood stop trying to make more crap!?!? I hated "Night at the Museum" it was too me a family film aimed at first-graders, not teenagers or adults! I was bored 1/2 through the film, can't wait for more stupid crap W./Part 2!..an aimless and riotous mess
