New Line Cinemas just released the trailer for their upcoming comedy Be Kind Rewind, starring Jack Black, Mos Def, Danny Glover and Mia Farrow. You can watch it right here, right now...

A man (Jack Black) whose brain becomes magnetized unintentionally destroys every tape in his friend's video store. In order to satisfy the store's most loyal renter, an aging woman with signs of dementia, the two men set out to remake the lost films. Mos Def also stars in the film.

This Michel Gondry directed comedy opens on December 21st, 2007.

When i first read the synopsis i was not impressed. But after seeing the trailer, I cant wait.

I like how Jack Black is venturing into light-hearted comedies. It just shows how versatile he can be.We might even soon see him in a serious film.
