Based on the comic book, Ryan Reynolds stars as Hal Jordan, a cocky test pilot who becomes a superhero with the help of a mystical green ring.
Green Lantern was released June 17th, 2011 and stars Ryan Reynolds, Blake Lively, Peter Sarsgaard, Mark Strong, Temuera Morrison, Jenna Craig, Jon Tenney, Mike Doyle. The film is directed by Martin Campbell.

@skywise Agreed. My fear would be that of the black lady in the Parllax script but it would be much more authentic and not seem like a bad acting job, like that is.

@jptheredskull Your right he does look like a cloud and i do think the comic version is awesome but seriously...if i saw a cloud like that coming down on my city i think the fear factor would absolute.

GL has to be my favorite superhero.. although the scenes look ok, i still fear it will be 200% sh*te! afterall some of the effects look really poor and cartoonish!! a bit like the famous Neo animation!! This may have been one of teh instances where the film shouls have been made Final Fantasy style... 100% hardcore CGI!!!
We'll have to wait and see I guess.

@skywise Parallax really just looks like The Leader as a cloud here. He's more menacing in the comics.
