Faith Hill to be a STEPFORD WIFE

The Stepford Wives: Variety reports that country music beauty Faith Hill will make her big screen debut in Paramount's remake of "The Stepford Wives". The studio is talks with the Grammy-winning songstress on casting her as one of the idealized suburban wives in the dark comedy.

Nicole Kidman toplines a cast that includes John Cusack, Joan Cusack, Glenn Close, Christopher Walken and Roger Bart.

This isn't the first time that Paramount Pictures has tried to seduce the songstress into a film role either, Paramount originally tried to nab Faith for a role in the Mel Gibson war drama We Were Soldiers.
