Gerard Butler and longtime manager Alan Siegel's first project under new production company, Evil Twins, is the psychological thriller Law Abiding Citizen, with Butler set to take the lead role.
According to Variety, the duo are producing for Mark Gill, Neil Sacker and Robert Katz's the Film Department.
Butler will star as a successful assistant D.A. who finds himself at the center of a vigilante plot hatched by a traumatized victim of the legal system.
Production is set to begin in the summer.
