In this update of Jules Verne's Journey to the Center of the Earth, Brendan Fraser will portray a geologist who, with his teenage son, discovers a message hidden in an ancient artifact, leading them into a previously unseen world. Journey to the Center of the Earth 3-D will be shot in live action, with the otherworldly landscapes and creatures supplied by high-definition, photo-real 3-D technology.
The film opens August 8th, 2008.
Journey to the Center of the Earth was released July 11th, 2008 and stars Brendan Fraser, Josh Hutcherson, Anita Briem, Seth Meyers, Jean Michel Paré, Jane Wheeler, Frank Fontaine, Giancarlo Caltabiano. The film is directed by Eric Brevig.

i like brenden frasier, so as long its meant to be amusing itll be worth a view.

this movie will be sweet i just think its funny for brendan cuz if he is fighting mummys or going to the center of the earth it doesnt matter for him cuz no matter what he will always be a great actor as long as he is a bad ass archeologist lol. he is always hunting treasure...i think him and nicholas cage should team up for national treasure 3 lol
