Based on the popular comic strip of the same name the story goes like this.... Jon, Garfield's owner, takes in Odie, a cute but dumb puppy. This upsets Garfield's perfect little world and he wants Odie gone. After Odie is kidnapped Garfield is the one left feeling responsible and sets out to find the newest addition to their household.
