Hi, I was wondering if anyone knew what the movie peeps are looking for as far appearance goes for extras in the movie. My Mom and I are going again this Sunday and have many Renaissance looks as we have been going for 25 years now. I am basically wondering if they are looking for more peasant looking people or more courtly looks. Also, if they prefer the more subdued authentic looking garb, or more garish bold looks such as big floppy feathers and hats and such. If anyone could help, we would very much appreciate it.
Thanks and Wassail to all

They will be filming this Saturday and Sunday for the last weekend of the Michigan Renaissance Festival. They will be incorporating festival goers as extras. As soon as you get in the gate, you will be handed a release letting you know you won't get paid if you are used in the movie. So dress up in your finest garb. PLEASE no kilts with flip flops or kilts with hawaiian shirts. Unfortunately, I've seen this "look" at the festival this year.

I was at the Michigan Renaissance Festival yesterday and they had filmed on the renfest site Thursday. They were in mid-construction of what one of the construction workers called the main stage. Many large equipment trucks were in the parking lot as well.

Production crews unloaded equipment on Friday and are setting up total production HQ at the Holiday Inn Gateway Flint. Location for filming is in Holly MI just to the south at the location of the Michigan Renaissance Festival. It will be a closed set.
