Jennifer Connelly and Mira Sorvino are two wives connected by tragedy in Terry George's Reservation Road. Their idyllic suburban lives are destroyed when a hit and run driver accidentally kills the son of Jennifer Connelly and Joaquin Phoenix. The driver is Mark Ruffalo, who races away from the crime with his own son in the car. The plot thickens as he is the ex-husband of Mira Sorvino, who just happens to be the music teacher of the dead child. The fathers, one consumed by guilt, the other by revenge, spiral towards each other with dangerous consequences.
