Amy Smart has officially signed on to reprise her role as Chev Chelios' girlfriend in the upcoming sequel Crank 2. According to Variety, Clifton Collins Jr. has also signed onto the film. He will be playing Chev's evil nemesis.
Bai Ling will also appear in the film, along with returning cast members Dwight Yoakam and Efren Ramirez. The plot finds Chev going up against a group of mobsters that have stolen his nearly indestructible heart. Chev undergoes an electrical heart transplant, and the organ needs regular jolts of electricity to keep running.
The film will begin principle photography on April 28th in and around the Los Angeles area.
