The international box office has been infested with rats. That's right, according to Variety, Ratatouille has one again dominated the top of the charts for a third week in a row. The Pixar-Disney collaboration nabbed $27.7 million on 3,793 screens playing in thirty-three markets. So far, it has pulled in $308 million.
Stardust flew into second place with $8.1 million. It is currently playing on 2,214 screens in at least four dozen territories. So far, it has earned $42 million overseas. That is $4 million more than its stateside take. Resident Evil: Extinction and The Orphanage tied for third and forth place, both films bringing in an estimated $5.6 million.
Superbad earned another $4.6 million, putting it in fifth place. So far, the film as earned an estimated total of $32.2 million, which is being considered pretty good for a domestic comedy without any significant stars in the lead.
