Jason Sudeikis, last seen in the independent comedy The Ten, has just been added to the cast of What Happens in Vegas. According to Variety, he will be playing opposite Cameron Diaz and Ashton Kutcher in the Tom Vaughan directed project.
In other casting news, Zulay Henao has signed on to play the female lead in the upcoming Rogue feature Fighting. She will star opposite Channing Tatum and Terrence Howard in the Dito Montiel directed film. Fighting is currently shooting in New York City.
Callie Thorne has been added to the cast of Welcome to Academia. The film is marked as a dark satire on higher education. The plot revolves around professors vying for the top position at their school. Thorne will be playing a gender studies professor with an anger problem.
Made for You has picked up Kyle Howard in the role of a lewd, crude guy who complicates his best buddy's relationship. Daryl Goldberg is directing the comedy, which is currently shooting in Connecticut.
Lastly, David Charvet has signed on to star in the independent drama Green Flash. He will play a star basketball player who ends up playing beach volleyball. The film is currently shooting in Southern California. The plan is to release it in conjunction with the 2008 Summer Olympics.
