A film adaptation of the video game Halo was set up at Fox some time ago. Less than a year after they had planned to co-produce the film with Universal, the deal fell apart. Well, according to Variety, 20th Century Fox has signed a new deal, making it once again the primary license holder for the Halo franchise.

This means that Fox has the worldwide merchandising rights to the video game on behalf of Microsoft, the company that created the property. Fox plans on launching a wide array of new Halo merchandise. In the works are books, clothing, collectables, and action figures. The merchandise will appear in conjunction with the Halo 3 video game that is being released this September.

There is no set date on when the film will go into production, but speculation sees the Halo 4 video game hitting shelves before that happens.

I can agree with these others on live action. If thats the case tho, the movie producers need to take out the actors voices and keep the originals from the games. I promise you all, live action or not if the movie producers don't keep the same voices through and through the movie they spent millions or more on won't mean crap. NO one wants to see this movie with actors voices, but from the one's that started it from the games!

I've seen some live action Halo stuff and it's really cool. I trust that they can make it the best film ever made.

heck yeah, live action man! besides even if you all say that it wont be worth it to watch because its not CGI or because its not Live, you know that we are all going to be lining up prior to the release to be the first to watch it anyway. so just wait for it to come out, Cause in the end we're all going to watch it anyway.

CGI would suck for this movie I want to see a Live Action Halo Movie anything less then Live-Action would ruin this movie if you want to see Animation play the Video Game

If this movie does not have the character voices from the video; ex: Master Chief, and Cortana and the others, this movie is not going to be worth wasteing time or money on. So movie producers, get those voices from the video game, or your millions and billions will be worth nada in the end. And no one will want to see your movie.

OK so Halo is back on but when will the movie arrive we need a release date. I mean the last Halo project cause wars and wasted money between 2 movie studios, because Neil Blomkamp was spending too much money, so why still pen him as a director. I mean even i've written a script but if this film is so spectacular, i can't wait. I bet it will be one of them too spectacular films with too many special effcts that make the film look so fake kinda like Superman returns.
But laadies and gentlemen i don't think we will ever see a Halo movie, well not until i start directing and screenwriting

Peace Out From Chronic

I'm currently working on the highly anticipated Nightmare on Elm St The Beginning Script. Which i've entitled 'A Dream On Elm St.'
In the concept of writing this script i want it to be as close to what the fans want as possible. Therefore i'm requesting ideas of what the fans would like to see within the script. If you have any ideas that could be useful.
Then send them to
stormingshadowcat@hotmail.co.uk

Please put A Dream On Elm St in the subject box. All ideas given are read and considered within going into the script.

Yours sincerly
